Pat and Oliver Heathcote set up Payne-Gallway Publishers early in 1998 to publish Pats book A Level Information Technology. Six years later we are still a relatively small publishing company with four full-time and one part-time employees.

Pat Heathcote is the Managing Director and also edits and writes some of the textbooks. She was an IT teacher at Suffolk College in Ipswich before setting up Payne-Gallway Publishers.

Oliver Heathcote edits and checks manuscripts, making sure they are correct and complete before sending them to be printed. He is our 'troubleshooter when it comes to hardware and software problems and also finds time to write a book now and then!

Mark Kench has many years experience in publishing. He is responsible for the production process from design through to printing and web site development.

Victoria Matthews combines the functions of marketing, web site maintenance and typesetting.

We outsource much of our graphic design work which is done by Direction Advertising & Design in Bournemouth.
