Motivated pupils and was suitable for all ability ranges (especially my most able) - I frequently found pupils using this outside of class time.
Also a nice way to vary a lesson - really appealed to pupil's competitive streak when used as a whole class exercise, or allowed pupils to work independently while I could offer individual consultation.
There should be software like this for all subjects to really make use of those 3 or so computers sitting in the back of the classroom. Then we're online to delivering individually tailored educational programs!!!
