Excellent introduction to the package, December 2002

Basic Paint Shop Pro is an excellent introduction to the package for any student that has not had the opportunity to use it. Although aimed at KS 3, I have used it to generate examples for my Yr 12 students and have recommended that they get a copy prior to starting their graphic module.

I am a self-taught "silver surfer " and have never been able to fathom out Paint Shop Pro until I got your book. It is wonderful. I did all the projects and now I am layering and altering photos with delight. My greatest success is a seaside photo taken on a very dull day. Now the sky is blue, the sands are golden and my son in law is wearing burgundy pants instead of the cream ones he set out in. Many thanks to Mr. Chasemore for making a complicated program so easy to understand.

We love you books! I've been recommending them since the Basic series first came out and we now use them as set books in some of our ICT classes. Currently I am recommending them to some retired people we are running computer courses for - they belong to the University of the Third Age. I Have been lending and recommending the Basic series to them.
