A number of people use a CD teaching method for touch typing and keyboard skills. Experience has shown that by using a book, pupils learn steadily and systematically without skipping ( which often happens when using a CD), and without missing some important areas.
For the teacher, it is easier to monitor and control the pupils? level of attainment when using a book.
